The Challenge

To securely send large volumes of data and information, EVV sought a solution that met the high demands for data protection and security. A comprehensive encryption concept was just as crucial as hosting in a high-security data centre located in Germany. At the same time, EVV placed great importance on the practicality and user-friendliness of the software solution, which needed to integrate seamlessly into the familiar work environment of over 9,000 employees.

“We took the evaluation phase and provider comparison very seriously. Secure data exchange and seamless documentation

In the healthcare sector, secure and rapid data exchange is of immense importance. The complete, version-controlled documentation of crucial patient information can, in some cases, be lifesaving.

At the same time, patients' expectations are rising. The days when X-rays or other medical reports had to be printed and physically transferred between doctors’ offices are long gone.

For this reason, EVV relies on various solutions from the FTAPI product portfolio to enable the secure and efficient exchange of sensitive data and information.

How the Elisabeth Vinzenz Verbund uses FTAPI

FTAPI SecuMails allow employees to send encrypted emails directly from their inbox. Depending on the content of the message, users can choose between four security levels, ranging from a secure download link to full end-to-end encryption of messages and attachments.

In FTAPI’s virtual data rooms, known as SecuRooms, large, highly sensitive files are stored in a version-controlled, audit-proof, and GDPR-compliant manner. These include patient records, X-rays, and laboratory reports.

FTAPI SecuForms provide a structured approach to data intake. These secure online forms collect exactly the required information and forward it directly to the responsible persons or departments.
